just finished doing a scrapbook page for a weekly challenge for uk scrappers really enjoyed doing it first time ive stitched on paper also got to use one of the many cds me and my daughter have purchased . used an artylicous cd paper and as the papers only print out in a4 sizeprinted of a few sheets cut them down to 6x6 and patchworked them onto a piece of white 12x12 then cut flowers out from the scraps to use as embellishments the theme for the page is your biggest achievment and as i dont have many qualifications decided my biggest achievment were my daughters as they are all such lovely adults now and im really proud of them they are all so individual and always make the most of everything thats going on in there lives .i had to use stiching as part of the challenge so i stiched round the edge of some circles making the holes first with a pricking tool and i will use this effect on other layouts as i enjoyed it

since joining uk scrappers i have decided to take part in swaps and challenges its been great fun and gives me something to aim for i have joined a matchbox swap which is filling a matchbox size box with embellishments and sending it to the next person on the list i made my box its slightly bigger than a matchbox and have filled it just need to get the address of the person ive got to send it to also did a page layout for a weekly challenge it had to include a picture of me some stripes pink and some metal after a quick phone call to my mum she supplied me with some photos and job done.this got me thinking about all the old photos my mum has and im going to scan them and put them on a cd for future scrapping and to save from deteriation i will start a family history album, then i will do the same with my hubbys mums photos..heres aphoto of my weekly challange layout

ive been taking photo or rather my daughter has of atcs and scrapbook pages that i have completed been wanting to do it for a while but i dont own a digital camera apart from my mobile so i have to wait till my daughter is not busy.i am taking part in an atc swap now so it has inspired me to make lots of atcs i love making them because you canuse anything you want .i made some background paper with h2os on watercolour paper and was quite pleased with the results used it on a couple of my atcs.sent my circle journal of on saturday and i am looking forward to recieving the next persons its keeping me busy but i love it.
